Rose Amazone by Hermès is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Rose Amazone was launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is Jean-Claude Ellena. Top notes are Black currant leaf, Red Currant, Grapefruit, Mandarin Orange, Bergamot and Lemon; middle notes are Rose, Blackberry, Raspberry and Floral Notes; base notes are Woody Notes, Vanilla and Amber.
Hermes launched Amazone fragrance back in 1974 (and re-launched it in 1989). The fragrance was of a free and modern femininity; made as an intense combination of green, floral and woody aromas. At the end of 2014, there comes a new, modern version of this legendary fragrance, named Rose Amazone, launched under the Collection Les Classiques.

The in-house perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena is credited for this remake. There are also floral notes of rose, laid on a background of sweet amber, vanilla and woods.
